Hi, My name is Alyssa Ice, the Creative Director and Owner of GINGER ROSE, a floral design and event studio that specializes in custom floral designs and installations.  From corporate accounts, to editorial photoshoots, large weddings and events, to small intimate gatherings, I will work with you every step of the way to help you express yourself through the beauty of nature.

I enjoy working with local varieties, unexpected foliage, as well as heirloom blooms to create unique floral arrangements and installations.  My designs reflect a modern take on a loose and botanically lush style, using beautiful color palettes and interesting textural elements to bring a distinctive look to your event.

I have a deep and long-standing love for flowers and have been inspired by nature ever since I was young. One of my favorite memories began in my Great-Grandpa's garden in Northern California.  I would help him pick seasonal blooms throughout his enormous backyard and arrange them in tiny bouquets.  This is where my love for flowers and the impression they leave upon the heart began.

I began my official journey as a floral designer when I was 16 years old, as a shop girl washing buckets and processing flowers.  I then worked my way up the ladder to a designer, and decided to go to Portland, OR to study floral design.  After deciding that I absolutely loved working with flowers, I moved from my tiny town in Folsom, California to San Francisco, California, where I pursued designing full-time for a variety of boutique shops around the city for the better of six years.  In April 2015, I launched my own floral design company, GINGER ROSE, and the rest is history!  I now happily reside in Atlanta, Georgia in a blue house with my own flower garden...it seems as though dreams really do come true!

I have been using The Walking Rovers since they trained my husky, Cyrus, as a pup. Cyrus is now five years old. The faces sometimes change, but each dog walker and sitter has been consistently compassionate and diligent.
